Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and THNK God LLC ("we," "us") and govern your use of the THNK GOD app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian's permission.

2. Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and do not share your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may deactivate or delete your account at any time from Settings.

3. Your content

You own the content you create in the Service — journal entries, prayers, notes, posts, and anything else you write or upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, publicly perform and display, and distribute Your Content for the purposes of operating, developing, and promoting the Service.

Content you keep private is visible only to you. Content you post to a church, group, or other community space is visible to that audience, and its members may see it even after you edit or delete your copy elsewhere (for example, in notifications already delivered). You are solely responsible for Your Content and must have the rights to anything you post. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or compensation.

4. Community conduct

Community spaces exist for encouragement and fellowship. You may not post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, deceptive, or that infringes anyone's rights or privacy. You may not post another person's private information without their permission, and you may not impersonate any person, church, or organization.

We and community leaders may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice.

5. Churches and community leaders

If you claim or help lead a church or group in the Service, you represent that you genuinely hold that role and are authorized to act for that community. Leaders are responsible for the content they publish to their community — including content they import or forward into the Service from outside sources — and represent that they have the rights to publish it. We may remove leader-published content and are not liable for it. We may reassign, archive, or remove a community listing at any time, including when leadership lapses or a claim is disputed. Disputes between members, leaders, or churches are between those parties; we have no obligation to resolve them.

Church and community listings are compiled from third-party sources and user submissions. We do not verify the identity, credentials, or standing of any church, leader, or member, and we are not responsible for listing information that is inaccurate, outdated, or misrepresented. Neither a listing nor a leadership claim is an endorsement by us, and content posted by users or leaders reflects the views of its author, not ours.

If you add a giving link to your community’s page, it must direct to that community’s own tax-exempt organization. Links to personal payment accounts are not permitted. We may hide or remove a giving link, and may end a community’s access, if a link does not meet this requirement. Giving is handled entirely by the recipient and their payment provider; we do not process, hold, or receive any part of it.

Events listed in the Service are organized by their hosts, not by us. We are not responsible for any event or for anything that occurs at one; if you attend, you do so at your own risk.

6. AI and voice features

Parts of the Service generate responses using artificial intelligence. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation, and is provided as a study and reflection aid only. It is not a substitute for Scripture, pastoral counsel, or professional advice of any kind — medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or otherwise. If you are in crisis or someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services.

Voice input is converted to text using your device's speech recognition, which is provided by your device's maker under its own terms. You are responsible for using voice features lawfully and safely.

7. Acceptable use

You may not: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; probe, disrupt, or overload the Service; access it by automated means or scrape its content; reverse engineer any part of it; circumvent usage limits, moderation, or security measures; or resell or commercially exploit the Service. We may set and change usage limits for any feature at any time, with or without notice.

8. Intellectual property

The Service — including its design, features, text, and media, but excluding Your Content — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. Scripture translations and other licensed materials in the Service remain the property of their respective owners. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to notices that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Send copyright complaints, including the information the DMCA requires, to support@thnkgod.app. We may remove allegedly infringing content and will terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or its users. Sections 3, 8, and 11–16 survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

We do not guarantee that content will be stored or remain available; keep your own copies of anything important to you. The Service also displays content and services from third parties, including embedded videos and linked websites; we do not control them, are not responsible for them, and your use of them may be subject to the third party's own terms.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed fifty US dollars ($50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of anyone else's rights.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will post the updated Terms and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

16. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

The app is distributed through app stores operated by third parties. Those operators are not a party to these Terms and have no obligation to provide support for the Service, and they and their subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, entitled to enforce them against you.
