Email us at support@thnkgod.app with any question, problem, or request. If you are writing about a problem in the app, tell us what phone you are using and what you were doing when it happened — it makes the fix much faster.
Your account and your data
Export a copy of your data
Open Settings and choose Export my data. The app builds a copy of your account and content and hands it to you to save or share wherever you want.
Deactivate your account
Open Settings and choose Deactivate account. Your account and anything you have posted are hidden, and nothing is deleted. Signing back in restores everything exactly as it was.
Delete your account
Open Settings, expand Privacy & Data, and choose Delete my data permanently. You will be asked to confirm, and then you are signed out.
Deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period. During those 30 days, simply signing back in cancels it and restores your account. After the grace period your account, your content, and your profile photo are permanently deleted from our servers.
Posts you made in a church or group are not left behind under your name. They are replaced with a marker showing the content was deleted, so that other people's replies in the same conversation still make sense, and nothing of yours and no part of your identity remains attached to them.
If you cannot sign in to delete your account, email support@thnkgod.app from the address on the account and we will handle it.
Common questions
I cannot sign in
Make sure you are using the same sign-in method you originally created the account with — an account made with Google is separate from one made with an email and password. If you used an email and password, use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen. Still stuck? Email us.
Is what I write private?
Yes. Journal entries, prayers, notes, and anything else you have not deliberately shared are visible only to you. Content you post to a church or group is visible to that community. The Privacy Policy spells out the whole picture.
How do I report a post or a person?
Use the report option on the post itself. Reports go to that community's leaders and to us. If something is urgent or involves someone's safety, email us directly and say so in the subject line.
My church is listed wrong, or is not listed
Church listings are compiled from public sources and from what people submit, so some are out of date. Email us with the church name and city and we will correct it. If you lead the church and want to claim its page, you can start that from the church's page in the app.
I am not getting notifications
Check that notifications are allowed for THNK GOD in your phone's own settings, then check the notification settings inside the app. Battery saver and Do Not Disturb modes will also hold notifications back.
The study answers are not always right
They will not always be. The study companion is a reading aid, not an authority — it points you to the passages so you can weigh what it says against Scripture itself. It is not a substitute for your Bible or for your pastor, and it is not advice of any professional kind. If something comes back badly wrong, please send it to us; that is genuinely how it gets better.
