Privacy Policy

This policy describes what THNK God LLC ("we," "us") collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address, name, and sign-in provider; and, if you choose to add them, a profile photo, city, and testimony.
- Content you create: journal entries, prayers, notes, questions, and anything you post to community spaces.
- Voice input: when you use voice features, your device's speech service converts your speech to text. We receive and store only the text. If you turn on the optional wake word, listening happens entirely on your device — no audio is recorded or sent anywhere unless the wake phrase is detected.
- Location: if you allow it, your approximate location, used to find churches near you and suggest a profile city.
- Technical data: device type, app version, crash reports, IP address, and (if you enable notifications) a push notification token — used to run, secure, and fix the Service.
How we use it
We use this information to provide the Service, including processing content you submit to AI-powered features in order to generate responses; to secure the Service and prevent abuse; and to communicate with you about your account.
What is private
Content you have not shared is visible only to you. We access it only when you ask for help with it, when necessary to investigate abuse or a security incident, or when the law requires. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
What we share
- With communities you join: content you post to a church or group is visible to that audience.
- With service providers: companies that host our infrastructure and process data on our behalf (including AI processing of content you submit and mapping services that receive only your approximate area), bound to use it only to provide their service to us.
- For legal reasons: if required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the Service and its users.
- De-identified, aggregated information that does not identify you, used to operate and improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
All of the following are available in Settings:
- Export a copy of your data.
- Deactivate your account; signing back in restores it.
- Delete your account. Deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period (signing back in cancels it), after which your account and content are permanently deleted.
You can change app permissions (location, microphone, photos, notifications) in your device settings at any time.
Retention
We keep your information while your account exists. After deletion takes effect, it is permanently removed, except where the law requires us to retain it. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post updates here and notify you in the app of material changes.
